Information Required by the Bond Transparency Act

INFORMATION REQUIRED BY THE BOND TRANSPARENCY ACT OF 2017

Independent School District No. 4, Seminole County, Oklahoma (Konawa Public Schools)

In accordance with the Bond Transparency Act of 2017, please see the information below:

Description of Proposed Bond Projects voting on 23rd day of August, 2022:

to renovate, repair and/or remodel restrooms district-wide, as needed    $720,000.00

to acquire technology equipment, education curriculum and texbooks district-wide from the proceeds of bonds maturing within five (5) years from their date    $100,000.00

to renovate, repair and/or remodel the Life Skills Room, as needed    $75,000.00

to perform security improvements district-wide to include, but not be limited to: exterior doors    $340,000.00

to renovate, repair and/or remodel science labs district-wide, as needed    $75,000.00

to acquire furniture district-wide to include, but not be limited to: desks and chairs    $180,000.00

to acquire band uniforms and equipment    $60,000.00

to renovate, repair and/or remodel the PAC, as needed    $230,000.00

to resurface the track    $135,000.00
    TOTAL:    $1,915,000.00

Description of Unpaid/Unfinished Bonds Previously Approved by Voters of the Jurisdiction:

As of the 23rd day of August, 2022, Independent School District No. 4, Seminole County, Oklahoma, has 1 General Obligation bond issue(s) outstanding:

$1,500,000 Combined Purpose Bonds of 2018, dated July 1, 2018 ($385,000 outstanding in principal as of the 23rd day of August, 2022).

Detailed Description of the Use of Previous Bond Proceeds:

(Improvements performed at 701 W. South Street, Konawa, Oklahoma)

to acquire technology equipment, education curriculum and texbooks district-wide, as needed    $175,000.00

to perform security improvements district-wide to include, but not be limited to: security equipment/communication systems and secure entrances    $100,000.00

to acquire and install flooring at the Elementary     $110,000.00

to replace the lower seating at the Gymnasium         $275,000.00

to acquire school owned vehicle(s)    $50,000.00

to extend the bus barn to accommodate higher capacity seating busses    $25,000.00

to acquire an ag trailer    $25,000.00

to acquire maintenance equipment to include, but not be limited to: tractor with front loader and backhoe attachment    $40,000.00

to acquire vehicles for pupil transportation     $700,000.00
