Welcome to Mrs. Carr’s 3^rd Grade Class!

I am very excited about the school year and am happy to be
teaching your child.  I have 18 years teaching experience,
with eight of those years teaching 1^st grade, two years
teaching 2^nd grade, one year teaching 3^rd grade, four years as a reading coach, two years as an instructional coach, and one year teaching middle school math.  My degree is in Elementary Education with a
certification in Early Childhood. I have my Master’s degree
as a Reading Specialist.  I live in Ada with my husband
Theron, our 11 year old son Gavin, our dog Molly, our cat Sophia, and our five chickens (Speckled Sussex – Nora and Pearl, Barred Rock – Nelly and Edie, and Rhode Island Red – Ivy).
