Sandra Johnson
2006 Teacher of the Year
Sandra Johnson teaches English at Konawa Public School. She is a Konawa High School graduate who attended East Central University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in English. Sandra joined the Konawa faculty in 1976 after working at Byng Public Schools. The founder of our award winning T-Steppers and sponsor or that group for twenty-two years, she was selected as 2006 Teacher of the Year by a vote of her peers.

The Teacher of the Year award is given before Christmas, but the Yearbook is named for the end of the school year.
