Performing Arts Center / Konawa Public School
The Performing Art Center was built in 1979 by Blevins & Spitz, Inc. of Shawnee, Oklahoma. The Architect Planner was Leaford L. Blevins. The Superintendent of Konawa Public School during the construction was Charles McFarland. Larry Mays held the position of Assistant Superintendent at this time. The Board members included President Bob Sharp, Vice President Robbert Fallis, Clerk Elvin L. Lane, Member Tony Lowry, and Member Otis Gilbert.
Activities which are held in the PAC include our Senior Graduation, Speech & Drama Club plays, Konawa High School Band concerts, the elementary Tiger Talk Time, guest speakers and various other activities.
There are two upper decks in the building seating 100 each and a lower deck seating 800. The building houses our auditorium, band room, the elementary music room and various utility rooms.
