Junior High School

The Konawa Junior High building was built in 1974. The superintendent at that time was A.W. Barrett. The board members were President L.M. Maxwell, Vice President Ervin L. Lane, Clerk Edward L. Branscum, Treasurer W.Tucker, Sr., member Paul Fallis, member Ben Frank. The elementary building has seventeen classrooms. The general contractor of the junior high school building was Powell Construction Company. The architect planner was Locke Wright Foster.

The Junior High building connects to the high school building but the actual junior high has ten classrooms which are used for math, Spanish, reading and history.
