Konawa BETA Club members are some of the most outstanding students attending Konawa High School. To qualify for the BETA Club, students must be sophomores who have maintained at least a 3.5 grade point average for the second semester of their freshman year and the first nine weeks of their sophomore year.

To become a BETA member, students must undergo a very humiliating initiation (see picture below). They have to carry a roll of toilet paper around with them and current members get to paint their faces with make-up. One of the services that BETA members perform at Konawa is to pick up litter after football games and work in the concession stands. There are 15 current members in BETA and letters have been sent out to 9 prospective members.
