Konawa City Parks

City Parks

The Konawa City Park is located in the northeast part of town between State and North Madison Streets. The City Park has many purposes. It is used by children who play on the recently installed playground equiptment, for the All-Night Gospel Singing, for bus parking on Band Day, and on the Fourth of July there is a spectacular fireworks show. The park is a wonderful addition to our communtity and is very well kept.

City Parks

This stage is a familiar sight to participants and attendees at the Konawa All-Night Gospel Singing. That event is usually held during the month of June. For more information, follow this link to the All-Night Singing.

City Parks

Picnic tables and charcoal grills are available at the park and at the Southwest boat ramp of Konawa Lake. Although the trees in the park were heavily damaged a few years ago by an ice storm, there are still plenty of trees for shade.

Other city properties are maintained for citizen usage. These are located downtown on Broadway.
