On Saturday, September 25, 2004, Konawa celebrated its centennial by holding several events on Broadway. These included a car show, antique tractor show, bass tournament, rock climbing, pony rides, live entertainment, huge flea market, crafts, food and much more. Turn out for the celebration exceeded expectations. For example, there were over sixty entries in the car show. This was one of the largest events in recent Konawa history.
