First meetings of the church in 1930's were held in tents with successful revivals. The present church is located on West 2nd and Konawa St. They called their first pastor in September of 1933. In 1938- 1940 and 1948-1949, Ellis M. Roberts, father of Oral Roberts, was called to be their pastor.
The church was organized on June 25, 1933. The first pastor, Reverend C. H. North, came on September 1, 1933.
The present building was erected in 1953. Reverend E. J. Menser was the pastor. Reverend E. M. Roberts, father of the world renown, Reverend Oral Roberts, pastured the church from August 1938 to August 1940 and from April 1948 to August 1949.
The present pastors, Reverends Robert and Jan Teel, came to Konawa in August 2000. The "Frontline" Youth pastors are Reverend Jonathan and Janay Roberts. In the past two years, the church attendance has more that tripled.
The church will celebrate its 70th anniversary in 2003.
