The Nazarenes met outdooors, in homes, or wherever they could find to hold their assemblies in the early years. In 1928, they were reconized by the Nazarene Conference as an official Nazarene Church.

Among the early families, the Young's, Mrs. Bob Hill, Grogan's, and Mayfeild's, the Howard's, Ross Fidler, some of the Walker's, Bowling's, Akin's, Henry's, Walter Berrys, Mrs. Sam Martindale, some Shaw's, Iva Branscum, and many others.

Andy Green was called to the position of pastor and assumed duties in 1927. For seven years, the church became one of the most active in Konawa.

Presently, the youth go to church camp at Camp Bond. They have several annual activities: Annual Distric Assembly, Annual youth distric meeting, and Annual Sunday School meeting.
