News from previous meetings

The Alumni Planning Committee held its first meeting on February 3rd to elect officers and to prepare for the upcoming reunion.

The officers for 2005 are:

Lani Walker-President
Ivoleta Mitchusson-Vice President
Janet Stockton-Secretary/Treasurer

Other members in attendence were: Jo Nell Carlin, Janice Downey, Darrell Walker, Norma McKeever, Becky Walker, and Angie Brooks.

On March 24 they held a business meeting and a work night. They have to organize and identify pictures and make a schedule of events for the Reunion Weekend. There will be some changes and all are welcome with their input.

Brick Project

The Konawa brick project is in place thanks to the labor of many. The cement is in place around the flagpole and many engraved bricks have already been set. But it's still not too late to participate. The price is 25 dollars. If you would like to purchase a brick please get in contact with Bille Jackson at 925-3118. The proceeds go towards a student scholarship. Those who have ordered a brick since May of 2002 are asked to contact the Alumni Association at the address above.
