On 09/21/2016, the Konawa Lady Tigers softball team met up for a second time against Coalgate.  In their 1^st meeting, Konawa had no problem putting away Coalgate 14-0.  On this day, Konawa met up with a much improved Coalgate team, breaking a 4-4 tie in the bottom of the 6^th inning to go ahead 7-4.  Konawa held Coalgate to earn the victory 7-4.  In the 2^nd game, Konawa took an early lead and held on to the lead despite several rallies by Coalgate.  The wins earned Konawa the District championship.  The Lady Tigers will head to regionals on 09/29. At this time, the location and opponents are unknown.
